About the event
Established in 2024, the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra brings together top early music specialists to perform classical works on period instruments under the direction of Kenneth Slowik. Hear them perform at University of Virginia's beautiful Cabell Hall on February 13 at 7:30pm. This concert is free and tickets are not required.
The SAO is a program of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, presented in cooperation with The Smithsonian Associates, and made possible by the generous support of The Honorable John FW Rogers and Goldman Sachs.
